I had a great experience staying at a beautiful big villa in Thessaloniki. the staff at Villa Ampelos were extremely friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us, even when we made a mistake and forgot to arrange an airport transfer. We called the host late at night and he happily came to pick us up. the villa was well, appointed with a charming old house and a large garden. the hosts spoke good English and were very pleasant and helpful. the location was convenient for the airport, and there were nearby tavernas and convenience stores within a 25, minute walk. the house had nice country views, and everything was clean and well, maintained. the air conditioning worked well too. it was a great place to stay and offered good value for money.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us as it was close to the airport, making our early morning flight a breeze. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a balcony that offered lovely views of the countryside. We also appreciated the clean and well-maintained grounds of the hotel.
The shared bathroom situation, which meant having to wait our turn to shower. there were a few instances where a host entered our room during the morning, which felt a bit intrusive.
